These are the first pictures we have of Empire since he has come to JDS. He wasn't really sure what was going on during his 'photo shoot'! All in all he was a good boy, if a little confused as to why he had his bridle on, yet he wasn't doing anything. As we've told you before, if Empire has his bridle on he thinks he's suppose to be at work.
Once again here is our wonderful Empire.(who Crystal fondly calls "Goose")
He originally came from the track with more weight and muscle, but due to his abcess and stall rest he's dropped some weight and muscle. Now that he's recovering he's packing on the pounds.
Don't let this guys lean physique make you question his quality. He really is fantastic!
As you can see, Empire has beautiful conformation and he feels like an absolute powerhouse to ride. There is so much strength and athleticism you feel he's capable of anything.
