		Alternative Medicine is a TB/Percheron cross gelding whose intelligence, kindness, athleticism, and ease of training gave Crystal the desire to breed more horses like him.  "Iago"  taught Crystal how to ride while keeping her from breaking her fool neck.  If he doesn't think she's ready to do something, he refuses to do it.  After falling during a canter exercise in 2000, Iago refused to canter with Crystal on his back for three weeks.  If she proves to him she can handle it, he'll quietly and eagerly do anything asked of him.  Crystal & Iago's first show was quite interesting...Crystal froze during her test and Iago luckily remembered his test.  Iago is the babysitter for the young horses and was the horse Shaman was weaned with.  Indifferent to most adults (except his chosen people), Iago loves children and has been utilized in several pony rides and girl scout merit badge lessons.  The above picture of Iago in front of the race car was taken at the Talladega Race Track when he was recruited to work security.  Suzanne's regular horse had come up lame and Iago was the only horse unflappable enough to go to the races without the desensitization training the other horses had undergone.  Crystal and Iago have taken some time off due to illness on Crystal's part, but they are back in training again and plan to start showing soon.
