Suzanne Rother

Suzanne Rother is a native of St. Charles, MO, who moved to Alabama appr 10 years ago.  She came to complete her training in dressage with Col. Howard Morris of Montgomery, AL.  After working at Pinchona Farm for two years, she moved to Gadsden, AL, to start her own business (Horse & Heart Riders, LLC).  HHR offers a variety of services:  boarding, training, and lessons to name a few.  A knowledgeable horsewoman, Suzanne worked for a local large animal veterinarian managing his breeding farm (stallion, mares, and youngstock) when HHR was in its infancy.  HHR riders attend several shows (dressage, combined training, and huntseat) each year -- and for the past two years have dominated their competition.  One of the nicest things about Suzanne's teaching methods is her emphasis on keeping things fun for both horse and rider.  Taking select horses for training each year, Suzanne has accepted Alternative's Shaman into her training program.  She is also Shaman's breeding manager and has been a constant in this stallion's life since the moment of his birth.  Suzanne volunteers with the Etowah Cty Sheriff's Mounted Unit  and currently rides Alternative in Red (a son of Alternative Medicine).
